Guidance & Understanding on Time frames
Guidance & Understanding on Time frames
In our line of work, there are many factors that can affect how long a job takes, and not all of them are visible at the quoting stage.
When customers ask “How long will this take?” or “Could it run over?”, it’s important to understand that any time frame we give is an estimate, not a fixed guarantee.
Before work begins, no paints or materials have been applied to the original surface. Until preparation starts, we cannot always know the condition underneath. Previous workmanship, surface adhesion, peeling, flaking, damp, movement, repairs, or hidden issues can all impact the process — and these only become clear once work is underway.
We always aim to provide a clear outline and work as efficiently as possible, but sometimes additional time is needed to ensure the finish meets our professional standards. A simple way to think about it Imagine being given a puzzle before you start.
Could you confidently give an exact time for completing it to a perfect finish — without knowing how complex it is inside the box?
Decorating and refurbishment work follows the same principle. Quality results require flexibility, care, and attention to detail — and that’s exactly what we aim to deliver.
Thank you for your understanding and trust in our process.
