PAINTER & DECORATOR

We are looking to add a full time painter/decorator to our expanding based in Bournemouth who specialize in the painting and decorating of residential properties as well as businesses.

The business requires candidates who can deliver excellent organizational and people skills to work independently and also within an existing well organized and motivated team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and hard-working candidate with a ‘can do’ attitude. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, presentable and hard working with excellent time keeping and reliability.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Undertake a range of painting tasks, to meet client requirements
Ensure Health and Safety regulations are complied with at all times
Ensure a professional image is presented at all times
Apply paint and other finishes like varnishes and stains to a variety of surfaces including wood, metals and plastics
Surface preparation, masking, mixing and clean-up
Using a range of coverings to enhance and protect surfaces
Working as a painter you must have proficient knowledge in the following areas: –

Safe operation
Workplace safety including working at heights
Safe lifting and handling procedures
Attention to detail
Highest regard for service quality
Able to manage time and prioritize work effectively both for area of responsibility and personally
Approachable and friendly demeanour
Have a pleasant customer service manner and a “can do” attitude
Have the ability to work diligently, independently and responsibly
3 years’ time served
Full clean driving license with own transport and Own Tools
Salary of depending on experience
Hours 8.00am – 4pm Monday –Fridays
